If you have experienced harassment or discrimination you can report this using Report and Support. For more information on what happens to this report click here. Reporting via Report and Support does not constitute a formal complaint, and it will not automatically trigger a formal complaint. We are a survivor-led service, which means that the reporting person is empowered to make fully informed decisions about their options.
Students can also make a direct complaint by contacting the Student Progress Service (SPS).
If you are reporting an incident related to a University colleague your complaint will follow the Student Complaint and Resolution Procedure. This procedure protects the reporting party from being accidentally disadvantaged due to the complaint.
If you are reporting an incident related to the behaviour of another student the complaint will be investigated under the Student Discipline Policy.
There is a Student Discipline Procedure for both the reporter and the responder. The procedure outlines your rights and responsibilities, as well as the responder’s right to respond to any complaints made against them. Click here for further information.
If you are a colleague, reporting an incident related to the behaviour of another colleague, the complaint will be investigated under the Colleague Disciplinary Policy and Procedure which is available here.
